Michael Buble decides against hosting the 2018 Brit Awards

Michael Buble decides against hosting the 2018 Brit Awards after pulling out of last year’s ceremony due to his son’s cancer diagnosis. The Canadian singer was highly anticipated to host the biggest night in British music but has decided against it to be with his son.

It is the UK’s biggest music calendar night, so the Brit Awards need a guest that can hold a cover on the savvy behavior of the winners.
But the bosses had to go back to the drawing board for the 2018 bash – after MICHAEL BUBLE decided against the hosting.

It was announced at the end of last year that the Canadian superstar would face the show in February 2017 but pulled out just a few weeks before the event as his son Noah was diagnosed with cancer.

It was, however, widely expected to make the British of 2018 now that his boy is well on the way to recovery – but now it seems probable.

Michael Buble is not in a hurry to get back to work

A British insider said: “Following the remarkable news of Noah’s condition, many people thought that Michael would fly to host the 2018 ceremony. But he’s not in a hurry to get back to work and the discussions with him were almost nonexistent.

“Everyone would love Michael to host in the future and the door will always be open, but, as it may not be available, talks with other stars have started.”

Speaking before the British in 2017, President Jason Iley does not rule out that Bublé would later host: “Our thoughts go to Michael and his family. We would like to see him on our stage in the future.”

But sources say organizers remain respectful of the need for the star to engage fully in his family.
